It’s reportedly crashing and not being able to connect to MySQL 8. In fact, they are still struggling with supporting the new version of MySQL. Sequel Pro team started to put in some work to support other relational databases such as SQLite or PostgreSQL a long time ago, but none of them seems to be finished. The main drawback is that Sequel Pro is only available for MySQL, on Mac OSX.
Sequel Pro client is hands-down one of the best clients to use when interacting with a MySQL database. And don’t expect to see Sequel Pro for SQLite any soon.
